With each build of the Windows 10 Technical Preview a lot of bugs are quashed, but inevitably a lot of new problems rear their heads as well. With Build 10074, we saw some users experience the dreaded blank screen at login, while others got a non-activated version of Windows 10 for no apparent reason. We are hopeful that these issues will be addressed soon by Microsoft, as they seem to be aware of both. Another bug MS acknowledged with the latest release is the inability to run games in full screen mode On Windows 10. Some users might be fine with playing a game in a maximized (but not full screen) window, but you must admit that it takes something away from the whole experience. If you can’t bear playing GTA with borders around it, there is a way you can make it go full screen without having to uninstall Windows 10 Build 10074.
Unlike most Windows 10 fixes we have covered so far, the solution to running games in full screen mode on Windows 10 doesn’t involve the registry editor. All you need is some working knowledge of the OS, and the ability to control the task manager.
Steps To Run Games In Full Screen Mode On Windows 10
How to Play a Game in Windowed Mode by Aaron Parson Updated September 22, 2017 Ideally, every computer game would include an easy toggle between windowed and fullscreen modes, making it possible to play alongside a Web browser window or keep your mouse free to reach a second monitor.
- Launch the game’s EXE. Make sure you are running the game just the way you normally do, even if the screen display comes out to be wrong. It is likely that you will see the game pinned to the task bar, and in a minimized window. This is completely to be expected, and should not hinder you from performing the next steps.
- Right-click the task bar to open task manager, or use the trusty, old CTRL+ALT+DEL command.
- Go to the ‘Applications’ tab in task manager and locate the entry for the game you ran in step 1. Right-click this entry.
- From the resulting menu, choose the ‘Go to process’ option.
- On the game’s process, hit the ‘Switch To’ option.
- Select full screen mode, if that option presents itself.
For some users, this method doesn’t work but most have termed it to be effective. To avoid a failure, make sure that you perform the above steps quickly before the process gets unresponsive.
Being able to run games In full screen mode on Windows 10 might not be too important for some, but anyone who is a serious gamer is sure to find the above tip useful.

Hi guys,
So three days ago, I experienced this problem that I can surf the web normally, but I can't connect to game servers, when I try to connect to game server, its like it disconnects from the game server alone, or times out. The games I am not able to play are:
1- DotA 2 (Used to play it normally)
2- CrossFire
3- HEAT Online (Worked once yesterday, but after restarting the router, it didn't work again)
Actually, sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. But I still can surf the internet whenever I want.
My router is a WiiMax router (Good signal) and it is not connected to a modem. I haven't changed any setting in the router.
My AntiVirus: Avira Internet Security 2013, had it since January 2013 and no problems.
So what is this problem from? My computer? My Router? or my ISP?
Please help me ASAP
Best,
MJaoune
